ChannelFireball Clash Event Fact Sheet

All matches for both Qualifier Weekends and the Championship Weekend will be played on MTG Arena using the Tournament Match setting.

The Magic: the Gathering Digital Tournament Rules and the Magic: the Gathering Digital Infraction Procedure Guide are in effect for all ChannelFireball Clash events unless specifically overruled by information on this event page or other fact sheets specific to the ChannelFireball Clash events.

Qualifier Weekend Notes

The first round of Day 2 may have a large number of byes depending on the number of qualified players. Byes will be given to players based on how early they qualified for Day 2. For example, players who qualified after Round 3 of Day 1 will have first priority for byes, then players who qualified after Round 4, and so on. If the number of players in any of those groups exceeds the number of byes available, the byes will be awarded randomly within that group.

Championship Weekend Notes

In the event that a player who wins an invitation to the Championship has already qualified for the Championship Weekend, the invitation does not pass down. Instead, any empty spots will be filled in a Last Chance Qualifier event on the Friday before the Championship Weekend. This Last Chance Qualifier will be open to all players who placed 17th-32nd in any Qualifier Weekend event but are not yet qualified for the Championship Weekend.
